Isn't he ionic? in Hair Dryers & Accessories

I bought this hair dryer because I want a hair dryer that has a lot of power AND DISTRIBUTES really well. I'm on a mission to have beautiful curly hair, you know, and scattering is central to that goal. There are entire sequences of hand gestures and wrist slaps, spells and visualizations that must be performed when spraying to harness the full power of a Boeing Boing curl and embed it into every strand of hair, but mostly I was only interested in the combination of a good one here powerful blow dryer and a diffuser attachment that creates truly individual curls without turning them into limp, dull curls. Sun. The dryer itself is TOP. It's really very powerful. It gets very hot, but the cold shot button works well. It doesn't take long for my head to dry. Comfortable to hold. It doesn't feel like it's overheating or straining its own internal heating coils (like many hair dryers do). However, the diffuser does NOT do its job. It breaks the airflow - without a diffuser, the dryer has a very dense column of air, and with that the airflow spreads out - but it doesn't become any less powerful, flowing, or assertive, and thereby frizzy. No curl. The head is full of curls. Sigh. So. I'm stuck with a hair dryer that I love, but with a diffuser that doesn't advance my quest for the sacred curl. I'm still experimenting with different temperature settings to see if that brings back some twisting and of course wrist flips and magic chants. Let's see if any of these mechanics will please the Great Follicle.
