This is said to be the original wet brush but I have several and it's not nearly as soft. :( It's either fake or they just didn't want to send it to the stores because I went to the store to see if maybe the wet brush product has changed but the ones in the store are soft. This one is hard and comes off not good to go to the store.

Bought for my great granddaughter (5 years) whose hair is almost waist length. Combing your hair has always been a terrible nightmare whether your hair was wet or dry. Not sure why this brush works but it looks like a miracle. It runs incredibly easily through your hair, wet or dry. All mats are easy to comb. All the screaming, crying, running and violent collapses when it was time to comb my hair stopped. Like I said, it's like a miracle. The whole family is happy!

I have very thick and very straight hair (I say don't even straighten it and it's straight all the time). The bristles of this comb don't go through all of my hair. I can understand that it won't go through anything that hangs down (because honestly no brush will do that), but it won't even go through the scalp. I first tried this comb on my dry hair right after I opened it from the Amazon packaging as I didn't want to wait until my hair was wet to try it using it and I wasn't impressed. Then I applied it to damp hair the next morning and was very impressed. I usually get a lot of breakage when brushing my hair right out of the shower as my hair is heat damaged from blow drying and straightening and when using this brush I didn't feel or hear all the clicks and breaks that I normally experience. This is my second wet brush and I don't think I will ever buy another brand. My hair is very thick and tangles easily, so I've had problems with it falling out. With this wet brush, I hardly lose strands when combing, even on dry hair by the third day. It only takes a few puffs to completely detangle my hair after the shower and my hair will be straight all day long!

I don't understand why he gets such good grades. It's a fake wet brush! I have a wet brush so I know what it should be. I wanted to replace mine because it was starting to wear out. A real wet brush has soft bristles and can comb through wet hair without snagging. The bristles of this comb are very stiff and catch my hair. It looks like a normal cheap hairbrush. Where to start? It amazes me how many counterfeit products are sold on Revain. As soon as I got this brush (purple) I noticed thin and brittle bristles, nothing like OG. I opened the box and it seems much lighter than the OG, also the grip is flat unlike the wet IG, ergonomic. Mine (the green one) is over a year old and still intact, the one I got here on Amazon doesn't look like it's going to hold up or even unravel.
