Well designed thick stainless steel wire.
A well constructed, durable stainless steel wire should last for many years. Bought these to replace the original pins that came with the boat when it was new (a few years ago). The wire gauge on these new pins is much heavier and should last much longer than the original hardware that came with my boat.
