Due to its compact shape and capsule size, this is a good pocket fan for travel. It has 2 speeds. It's good for warm weather, but not much in hot weather. The 2nd speed is the same as the 1st speed of round 3 speed folding fans if you are familiar with it. I have both and use both. The biggest and most frustrating downside is its discovery. I have to leave it partially open because my nails aren't thin enough to fit in a very small groove to open it. It's very annoying when it closes completely. It's frameless and because it's not as powerful as the other, it's quieter. It can be hand held or placed on a table, sometimes wobbling and easily knocked over. The blades are soft and don't hurt if you touch them. It has a comfortable wrist strap, USB charging cable and can be used as a charger. You press the power button once for low speed, twice for high speed. For a flashlight, press and hold the power button for a few seconds. If you're short on space and need to carry a fan, it's worth having. Otherwise, we prefer manual 3-speed fans, which have more cooling capacity in hot weather. We don't care if the fan is a charger or a flashlight.
