Bought this for my 7 year old daughter as our old night light finally broke. I really like this night light for her. Has two levels of brightness. 100% and 50%. 100% lights up her entire room, so it's perfect when she needs to take midnight bathroom breaks without hitting the walls. 50% is the ideal value to sleep in your room. So when she wakes up scared, she lights up the room enough to make her feel safe. I only used batteries for this light as my daughter loves to have it by her side, didn't use a plug to see how it worked. I also really liked this light because it doesn't get hot. It stays cool all night and I feel comfortable knowing that he is by her side while she sleeps. It's also a matte color and doesn't shine. Great buy at a great price.
