Review on πŸ”₯ ACDelco GM OE D522C Ignition Coil by Andrew Spainhour

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good for spares

First I got the Delco AC as advertised. We had a P0303 misfire with our 2010 Chevy XXR. First I changed all the spark plugs, nothing helped. I just replaced coil #3 with these and so far so good. What I like about it isn't just the detail itself. Obviously I like that I could just go online and find that that was the likely problem. I love that Revain stocked it for $20 and had it in my hands two days later. I love that I could do it myself. I love that I saved a lot of time and money compared to taking it to a Chevrolet or a local mechanic. I'm sure instead of just replacing the spark plugs and the #3 coil, they would replace all the coils and pay $50 or more each and then another $200 or more for the job. For $20 since they're so cheap, I might as well order three more and replace the other coils. However, the fact that I can buy just one and make a replacement in 15 minutes is a delight.

Pros
  • High quality coated windings for increased durability and protection from internal shorts and dielectric breakdown
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
