I have been an Otterbox customer for a few years now. Every time I got a new phone, I got a new Otterbox. However, the last two I bought had real quality issues. The thin "skin" of the body began to peel off. I had the last one for less than a week and it was starting to do. So I returned it to Revain and when I needed a case I saw this one and it looked exactly like my Otterbox but at half the price. So what do I have to lose? So far it's held up well without Otterbox "peeling". The only criticism was the color choice. I would have preferred an all black case and they didn't have one. So I have a two tone blue that looks ok but isn't my favorite. Otherwise I like it.
