First of all, I like wearing open-toed shoes that you can put on and take off. These 3/4 heel shoes work great. These shoes have a lot of padding at the top and toe which makes the shoe look narrower/smaller. I had to return the first pair and go up a half size. . . could expand to full size. Overall they look great and are very comfortable on the foot. Consider going up half a size when purchasing.
