I needed this to expand the ports on my Model 3 and support cordless phones along with a USB drive for watchdog recording/TeslaCam. The profile of this device is very small and thanks to its design it fits very well on one side without interfering with other ports on the Model 3. Wireless tablets worked as well as the USB stick. I've been using it for about 5 months and haven't had any problems.
