Inexpensive alternative
I needed an inexpensive ratchet winch to raise and lower my bird feeder, which is a pole and mast mounted 15 feet off the ground. The feeders hold 25 pounds of seed and are supported by a braided stainless steel aircraft cable. This winch makes lifting and lowering large and heavy containers much easier and safer.
