As someone who frequently tows their boat to the lake, I was excited to try out the CARROFIX trailer hitch lock. The lock itself is sturdy and well-built, and I appreciated the inclusion of two keys and a dust cap to protect against weather and debris. However, I was disappointed to discover that this lock only fits class III and IV receivers. If you have a different type of receiver, you're out of luck. Additionally, the lock can be a bit tricky to install and requires some finessing to get it just right. That being said, once installed, the CARROFIX trailer hitch lock provides excellent security and peace of mind. I appreciate the added layer of protection it provides for my towing setup. Overall, I give this product three stars - not perfect, but certainly worth considering if it fits your particular setup.
