Uh, nothing special about these books

I was amazed when I looked at the illustrations in these books. I expected them to be high contrast and bright to aid in my newborn's eye development. I was blown away upon receipt as the white is actually gray and the pages don't pop out as advertised. Also, the crumpled pages are only the covers and the whole book is very flexible. For the price I wouldn't buy them again.
