I usually use a plain nylon sheath with velcro closure for my portable knives. The extra weight and material found in many old-school binders may just be a minus for some. But this oddly named new venture has serious quality and a unique design that really impressed me. A lot of people these days don't like leather anymore and, like my daughters, are mostly vegetarian. Lots of faux leather options are cool; but this particular item is just old school for me to avoid! Perfect fit for my Spyderco Emerson Delica EDC knife with lock. And the leather zipper is just perfect for that perfect everyday portfolio. In fact, the brilliance of Emerson and Spyderco deserves such a bowl. I mean, with the exactly legal and serrated vanadium one-handed opening legend, the Delica design is almost impossible to improve on here in California, where blade length is always a maximum of 3 inches and the assisted opening motif has been ridiculous and uneven for years. Stiletto Laws written many years ago as early stiletto knives were considered the purely lethal weapons they were notorious for in Italy. If you have the interest and time to study this information, it will be almost impossible for you to know the exact state-by-state and county-by-county laws for EDC folders. The Spyderco Police Knife is actually an Endura Spyderco with a stainless steel blade and Vg-10. This really helped me identify the Spyderco Delica which is basically the same police knife but with a 2 and 15/16” blade length. It was a direct way to show you know and follow the best universal blade length laws in California's strictest system. This is a lot of additional information that will hopefully be of interest to my like-minded friends.
