My 2008 EZGO RXV had an old lever brake. Those old engine brakes have a terrible history of reliability. For preventative maintenance, I replaced the brake (with lever) with this new one. My RXV works great with this new device. Note: When installing, center the brake assembly by applying 25+ volts to it.
