Budget Scale

First of all, this is a beautiful scale, small, light, unobtrusive, easy to hide. Checkpoints when I received it. The resolution corresponded to the range. Worth the money, spec. when you get the selling price. It uses 2 AA batteries and didn't say so in the manual, but the scale also has a rechargeable lithium cell. Charge multiple outlets with a micro USB cable via the USB charging port and it runs for hours without internal batteries. Four things I didn't like: The display was more or less parallel to the plane of the weighing surface and had a very narrow viewing angle. When used on the kitchen table, I had to tilt my head just above my head to read it. Standing in front of the counter in a working position made it impossible to read. If you put a wide-rimmed bowl on it, you probably won't be able to read the display at all. The second is the lack of a lb+oz scale. You can only read pounds or ounces, with decimals of course, but not 1 lb 5.3 oz as expected, but 21.3 oz. Not designed by an American. Third, the included 12-inch USB cable is ridiculously short. So I can't get to a reasonably located USB socket. But you probably have some tripods laying around, so it's not that big of a deal. The latter is less serious. The scale is sensitive to all touches, including two control buttons. The readings change slightly when the buttons are pressed, but they seem to stabilize when you release the button. Um, not a big deal, but it annoyed me.
