Review on Holmes AER1 Type Total Air Filter: Replacement Filter Pack - 2 True HEPA Filters + 4 Carbon Booster Filters by Ken Arellano

Love the product, good price, good fit, fresh air, money saving. My air purifier is the HAP9240-NWU-1 (see photos) which comes with a HEPA filter and a slim black oval sponge filter that fits snugly into the lid/cap. I washed and dried my original sponge filter and put it back in. Inside the lid, put a new thin black activated carbon filter on top of the main HEPA filter, close the lid, it fits snugly. However, when I turn on the air purifier, the filter change indicator flashes green several times and then changes back to orange. The sensor does not seem to recognize the new filter. So I hold the orange light for 5 seconds to reset it, when it starts flashing green again I release my hand. The flashing green lights then change to solid green. The new filter is recognized. I am satisfied with the product, it completely freshens the air in my room.
