When I saw this set I felt like someone had put a treasure in my lap. Many years ago I used the same colors for glassware and china in the kitchen. I've tried "easier to use" colors that gave me poor results, either due to discoloration in the oven (you use a domestic oven to bake them) or dishwasher safe, or because they were so difficult to mix/apply it has just not worth it. These colors were also the cheapest to use given the cost of china or glassware because if they looked good in the kiln they would look good when finished. Rotation. When I used my good sable brushes (they never throw away!) they were just as easy to apply as ever. The feeling returned immediately, as if ten days had passed since I used the colors and not ten years! I let the finished pieces dry for 72 hours and then fired them. Burned out just as nicely as before and has now survived a couple of dishwasher runs without damage, peeling or discoloration. These colors are as beautiful as ever. If you're new to china or stained glass and don't want to invest in a kiln, this is the next best thing. If you've painted porcelain or glass, you already know how awesome it is!
