This is a turning device and straightener for those cases where you can only push something slightly and not iron a small spot. It can be used to simply grab the end of a tie just stuck in the fabric and I've even used it to grab the threads of my serger when I took the thread from the lower looper and removed the tweezers but it came out. It's one of those things you thought you didn't need, but it would be nice if you could find a million uses in a sewing and craft workshop. I've even used it to wind up yarn so the last piece in the project and yarn book I keep sticks together.
