This is a high filter. I read the reviews. This is the one I wanted. I received the mount they sell separately. It is worth buying. Do not be shy. Inlet and outlet 1 inch. I read a review that said there wasn't enough thread for a good seal. For real? I thought everything was fine. Of course you want to use teflon tape or plumber for the threads. Do it, twist it hard and you won't have any leaks. leaks. I had a drip for about a week. The LARGE o-ring on top needs to be turned quite hard to get a good seal at downhole pump pressure. Drop is gone now. Fixed it myself. Installation. I adjusted it to about chest height for me. I put a ball valve on the inlet and outlet. So I can isolate the house and well from the replacement filter. So it's worth going. Flow. When I first turned this on to fill the tank (60 gallons), the pump shut off in less than two minutes. I'm pretty sure this means there are no flow issues with this filter. This was my main concern. I'm happy to say it was unreasonable.
