Many of today's gas canisters are hideous. Every time I use it, I find gasoline/diesel/kerosene spilling everywhere. Especially when filling small tanks like lawnmowers. Either when heated in the sun or just on a warm day, it creates an overpressure inside the glass. I cherish my "original" Blitz cans with the little yellow vent cap and retractable flexible spout, but these are no longer available. I recently had a fancy sliding neck that fell apart on a nearly new and branded diesel fuel can only to have parts fall into the diesel tank and the whole thing could fall off the tractor dumping diesel everywhere. I used a small ledge on the spout to hang from the tank's spout as shown in the photos on the side of the glass. Pure garbage. Now that might be a refreshing change. I can easily lift the glass in the air and hold it by the rear handle and spout. Then when I'm done and everything is in place, I can press the button and ignite the diesel. If I fill a small container, I can just press the button a little and the diesel will flow. If there is air pressure in the glass I can still control the flow well. This is the best "new" fuel I've ever seen.
