These stands appear to be well made. As always, you could find something better, but not at this price point. They were easy to put together and I feel like I could do it without instructions. Mine are on a relatively deep carpet. With the spikes to use on carpet, the posts are very stable. The base is large enough that the coasters will tip over with a fairly strong impact. A special bracket allows you to securely hold the Play:3 in place. Unfortunately, this doesn't apply to the Sonos One (and Play:1). However, this shouldn't be a problem unless you plan on placing coasters in the middle of the room. In most cases, the speakers are on the wall or behind the sofa. Because of this, they will be very difficult to shoot down. You should probably be more worried about the electrical cord running from the wall to the speakers.
