The copy speed for this section is nothing short of phenomenal. I copied 200 and 300 gigabytes, with 200 consisting of files between 30 and 70 megabytes and 300 consisting of files between 300 and 900 megabytes. The speed at which tiny files can be copied ranges from 90 to 120 Mb/s with drawdowns of up to 80, whilst the speed at which large files may be copied ranges from 80 to 100 Mb/s with drawdowns of up to 50. The speed of copying is consistent at 100 Mb/s on average. In just under an hour and a half, 500 GB were written to the drive. These are some advantages: 1. A reputable and trustworthy brand 2. a protection made of rubber with reinforcements along the sides 3. Software from the manufacturer called HDDtoGO and OStoGO 4. Price per 1TB volume 5. Fast copying and reading speeds Many disadvantages: Disc made of glossy plastic; it's not for everyone, and it's really difficult to keep clean.
