Excellent product, the best quality.

By chance, while visiting, I saw that the owner of the house (an extremely wealthy person) uses a reader. Of course, I don’t remember his brand-model, but I remember that the book was very battered, all shabby and very old) It turned out that this was his faithful companion on business trips, traveling with his family and on weekend evenings in a country house.
After that, I also decided that I wanted a reader so that: a) I didn’t spoil my eyes by reading on the phone, b) nothing distracted from reading, and c) it was compact and the whole library was always with me in my pocket.
I sincerely like the Pocketbook 628, both in design and technology. So far, I have not identified any critical shortcomings, but let's look further. If something comes up, I'll add it.

Pros

- light - comfortable to hold with one hand - light - many options on how to transfer books + synchronizes with the application on iOS and Android. Super! - nice screen, like reading a book - backlight, adaptive screen temperature - autonomy - I use it for several days, the balance is about 85%, with three that it was not 100 out of the box)

Cons

- speed of work: after modern phones it seems sooo slow. Then you really get used to it) the book also takes time to leaf through) - sometimes tupits and reboots. Especially when you actively poke something and at the same moment there is synchronization. I hope they fix it with firmware, because the model is new - Poor quality and packaging. Case separately +1500 (but in terms of quality and appearance it is super. I recommend it!) -
