We bought 9 of these lights and some of them worked well but most didn't. Once inserted into the jar, they could not be removed without destroying the jar, nor did they properly connect to the network. They turned out to be fake because they weren't identical to the ones that worked. Unfortunately, we had to delay assembly for so long that we were unable to return the defective fittings. We were able to drill into the sides of some cans to push the clips down enough to remove them. We then bent the clips so that they could be inserted and removed from the can multiple times between initial testing, completing the drywall, and painting. We used them in new construction and not as a retrofit, which is lucky for us. Anyone using them as an upgrade may have to rip a glass out of the ceiling to remove the light if it goes out.
