Review on ASUS VG249Q Gaming Monitor with FreeSync, 144Hz DisplayPort, Adjustable Height & Pivot, Built-In Speakers, HD by Jeff Baker

I've been looking for an ips monitor to replace my current Asus vg248qe for a few months now. The problem with the current gaming monitor market is that most IPS gaming monitors are 27 inches, as I sit close to my monitor it would be too big and uncomfortable for my eyes. I almost gave up and was about to give up. with a 75Hz IPS monitor until I discovered the Asus TUF 23.8" VG249Q gaming monitor. This monitor is a real find! I used to play TN panels and the IPS offering was great. Colors are very rich compared to TN panels. The only thing I changed in the monitor settings is the color temperature. I changed it from warm to normal as it looks more realistic. Other than that, I didn't touch any other monitor settings. It's great! Not to mention that gaming at 144Hz is an experience like no other and I'm glad I didn't have to give that up to get an IPS panel Additionally, the virtually non-existent bezels make the monitor very stylish and save space on your desk. If you are looking for an affordable 24" 144Hz IPS gaming monitor, I would highly recommend this product. Exceeded expectations Buy it ASAP!
