Good device! I use 8.4 for my Galaxy Tab S. The OEM charger that came with my tablet charged my tablet but not while using it. When the device was turned off, it took a few hours to charge, but when it was used intensively, e.g. for gaming, movies or multitasking, it started to discharge when connected to the charger (the charger didn't provide enough charge). But this charger does the job! I use this to charge my tablet while playing games or multitasking and it still runs on enough power to fully charge my device! Does the job and charges my phone pretty quickly! (This version has two cables to charge two devices at once!) Great for tablets, that's for sure! No issues and looks/feels pretty sturdy! Be careful not to be rude when turning the connection on and off, but other than that it's perfect! (Made to charge mini USB devices, not the newer USB-C like the Galaxy s 6 and up!
