Good case but plastic clips seem to break easily

I've had this case for about 7 months now and I live by it. The only issue is that one of the plastic clips holding the bottom cover has broken and become sharp, scratching my wrists when typing and using the touchpad. I don't know when or how it broke as my laptop sits on my desk most of the time.
