Does not work on shelves or holders

I ordered a white and gold shelving set. The shelves are in the bin and I have new holes in the wall. The assembly steps for this are: 1) Install the metal frame to the walls and then 2) Screw the bottom of the shelf to the metal frame. The pre-drilled holes on the bottom shelf do not match the holes on the metal frame. So assembly impossible. I wish I had found out before I drilled the holes.
