I used these on a '97 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD to raise the rear about 2" to allow the mounting of 31" x 10.5" tires on stock 15" rims to prepare. I am very happy with the quality of these restraints and would recommend them. (I also used 2" extensions for the rear shocks, which was probably unnecessary.) I finished the job by doing a "twist twist" to raise the front and straighten the car. Aligning the front is the final step. NOTE: Installation went fine on the driver's side but was very difficult on the other side as the main bolt was frozen into the bushing, I had to cut off the old strut and bolt with a grinder and then find a replacement bushing for the leaf spring tab. None of the local shops had a matching bushing or replacement bolt, and even the dealer wasn't sure he could get a bushing (huh?!). I ended up having to special order a Dayton RB131. at the local truck dealer and then using a ball joint press (borrowed from AZ) along with some large sockets to fit the new bushing A lot of work and time unfortunately but the RB131 fits perfectly.
