You'll need assistance to straighten this stuff.

Too bad. I had high hopes. But it's too stiff to unroll and put in a straight line.Difficult to work with.Edit: I had initially put one star .4lifetimes company issued me a voluntary refund which I thought was very generous of them. Unprompted! SoI'm giving them 3 more stars to get the reviews ratings back up.This is A-1 CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would definitely do business with again! Videos to 4 lifetimes fuel line refund for stepping up !Thank you.!

Pros
  • Just what I needed for the job
Cons
  • Too stiff for long run fuel line. Will not flare at all w my flaring tools.

Good lines. good for me

Nice quality steel line. Worked fine for a fuel system I built. Not as easy to flare or bend as aluminum but a heck of a lot stronger and safer. Has a rust resistant coating that seems pretty durable, although I did accidentally scratch it in a few spots. Car doesn’t see salt or even rain so that won’t be an issue.

Pros
  • Easy installation and easy bends also. Bendable by hand for most practicable applications.
Cons
  • The product may be too heavy and cumbersome for some users, making installation and maintenance difficult

The aprox. 14” diameter coil of 3/8” tubing was a challenge to straighten before installing as a fuel line in my 1955 classic. Seems like a heavy duty product. The pvf coating has a tendency to scrap off if not careful when working with this tubing

Pros
  • Good quality
Cons
  • The tubing's stiff structure may impede the flow of fluids in some systems, reducing efficiency and performance

A good value.: my feedback

Replaced a pieced together steel and plastic fuel line from the tank to firewall. Coating can scratch off so take it slow. I touched up any scratches with a black enamel. Not really necessary in Florida. I used a spring shield to pre bend most of it. I wouldn't think twice about using it again.

Pros
  • super thick and strong.
Cons
  • Exactly what i wanted

Bends readily by hand, very easy to use.

I was able to run a fuel line the full length under a car with no joints. Product bends readily by hand, no forming tools required. I'm not sure how this works but it does! I was very pleased, and no more random leaks!

Pros
  • Nice coated steel line.
Cons
  • The tubing may be prone to kinking and cracking if mishandled or improperly installed

Good quality tubing

This is good quality tubing. It's a little stiff but manageable. If you have tubing benders you won't have any problems That's my review.

Pros
  • Nice coated steel line that won't rust in my old truck
Cons
  • The PVF coating may not withstand high temperatures, rendering it unsuitable for certain automotive applications

Rust inhibiting coating.

I have an old Corvette that had rusty and leaking fuel lines. This product was perfect for replacing the old line. The PVF coating will prevent rust. I used a tubing bender and a flare tool and made a new fuel line.

Pros
  • A good product used as a fuel line.
Cons
  • The product may be more expensive than comparable tubing options, making it less appealing to cost-conscious consumers

Very good Quality - my new review

It is very good quality, feels very think and its hard to bend but still workable. i do recommend this product. i changed my rubber fuel lines for hard lines.

Pros
  • looks like factory
Cons
  • The product may be difficult to find in certain markets, limiting its availability to some consumers

I had bought nickle/copper line for my fuel system before buying the steel line. The nickle/copper is easier to make large bends, but in tighter bends using 3 different styles of bending tools it kinked in the middle of the bend. This steel line doesn't do that with the one bender I have. It's harder to work with, but not impossible.

Pros
  • Used it for gas line repair
Cons
  • The steel material may be less durable than other materials, such as copper or aluminum

Thin walled best in my review

This line is ok. The coating is ok but will get scrapped off if you are not careful. It flares well but the wall thickness is thin. I had to bend it with sand in the line to get a nice bend and I do have a nice handheld bender. The image shows the difference in bend from thicker walked stainless line to this steel line. The steel line has a tendency to flatten out. I would not even consider the line for any bends past 90 with a filler in the line while bending.

Pros
  • Really hard to bend by hand
Cons
  • The 25-foot length may be excessive for some uses, leading to wasted material and higher costs

does not bend tight

this is very good quality material but if your looking for some thing that makes tight bends its not what you want even with a tubing bender when you get to a point that's not very tight it will kink

Pros
  • It is a coated steel line, not bare steel, so should last longer
Cons
  • The PVF coating may wear off quickly, causing the tubing to be vulnerable to damage
