Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ Sony RM KZ1 Children's Universal Remote Control by Tony Hoover

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Does NOT work with digital channels.

This would be an ideal product if it programmed the current standard TV channels e.g. 15.1, 28.4 instead of old 15, 28, etc. I think a cable box that still uses channel numbers without a comma would be fine, but without. no I'm still happy that my kid can turn their TV on and off even though they only ever watch PBS's 24-hour cartoon channel. Cons: 1. Without a cable box, this remote cannot program channels, essentially making it a pretty on/off switch. Pros: 1. A nice feature is that you can turn on the volume limiter during programming, so the volume doesn't skyrocket when the kid presses the volume up button. Instead, it limits the volume to around 28.2. Another plus is that there is a screw on the bottom of the remote that locks both the programming panel and the battery compartment.
