This stand is a quality product and would make a great kitchen towel holder if you buy it for that purpose. It also comes with two hooks to hang some extra kitchen items. However, I use the shelf to store 20 plastic napkins and it's the perfect size. We have a beautiful wooden kitchen table and always use plastic placemats for all our meals. So I wanted them to be available/convenient. I've looked everywhere for a napkin holder but haven't found anything. This stand is the perfect size. It's easy and holds at least 20 napkins. Because it has three bars, including the center bar, it keeps napkins straight and is easy to remove.
