I was planning on taking the baby. Even on the machine in normal lighting, grainy pictures turned out. Inconvenient lens cover, nothing to grab even for a girl. Pleased with the creative mode, especially the "Miniature Effect". I bought it to replace my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX1, but in comparison, the old Sony performed better. It's good that we managed to return the fotik to the store the next day.
