Ironically, my new 2019 MacBook Pro didn't work well with my old 2015 Mac monitor or Mac USB devices (since newer MacBooks only have USB-C ports). those. My Mac USB keyboard was not working even when using the adapter and my monitor was plugged in but the USB ports were not charging or extending. You might think Macs would be backwards compatible with their own products, but that's not the case. Imagine. MacBook, Mac Monitor and Mac USB Keyboard and none of them work together! However, this Samsung monitor fixed everything. Not only is the picture amazing, it charges my MacBook, and any USB peripheral that didn't work now works. Including my Mac keyboard. It's also wide enough to run apps side-by-side, which is extremely helpful for me as a web developer. And the curvature makes it easy to see the edges with peripheral vision. The only two things I don't want are 1. a wired ethernet connection (for my work, ethernet is much faster than wifi) and 2. a webcam with a microphone. It doesn't matter since I just bought one and plugged it into the monitor's USB ports. However, it would be nice to have one built in.
