This is my wife's new phone. I bought a black protector for my s8 and found that they work the same way, same pros and cons. So at least otterbox corresponds to their production. Unlike most reviews, I knew what I was getting myself into in this case. I had Otterbox on every phone about 7 years ago and loved them for their full phone protection. Because of the Galaxy S8's curved screen, I knew it would be difficult to fully protect the screen as well as the m1 Abrams armor on the rest of the phone. These are the products in the modern world. We as a species can land a satellite on a comet, but we cannot cover easily bent glass with brittle plastic. However, almost none of the cases on the market for this brand new phone come with built-in full screen screen protectors. So we're stuck with a stick of sticky shit shoots that are said to have self-healing properties. PROS: As mentioned above, the tank armor that comes standard on the Defender series is in place and fully exposed. The phone is very thin and the case meets its requirements. In fact, I think the holster clip profile is actually larger than the case. The pen is great as always. This caseless phone just wants to slip out of your hands. None of the other cases for this phone can match the grippy rubber that Otterbox uses. The holster is strong and flexible enough for getting in and out of the car and general work. Although I wouldn't climb rocks with him. See below CONS: Apparently no built-in screen protector. Since other companies are doing the same, you can take it or leave it. The holster does not always fully fit into the holster when it is already attached to the belt. No audible click like previous otter guards. Price. Otterbox is very close to the top, but it also stays at the top when it comes to costs. When people pay, more power for them. There are comparable covers for a third of the entire black housing. The buttons are very tight. Again, take it or leave it. At least you won't accidentally press the buttons. tips. Rock your phone as you place it in the holster with the screen facing in. Maybe even a tractor as a test. He doesn't like sitting all the time with the holster on his belt. I got out of the car twice in 2 days, juggling my phone and getting ready to hit when my 8 day old phone rolled onto the pavement.
