Honestly, I would wish for something other than a black plastic knife handle. It's a good pen, but the fit and finish of the rest of this unit takes away from the pen's appeal. I dare say that owning this device will make a person want more monk cheese. I can tell you it shows up at parties a lot more often than my fondue set and it always seems to impress the guests. If you're confused about the knife handle just order a spare from another set, but I can't do without a stone base and bright stainless hardware.
