As befits a form of telepathy, America's Test Kitchen was testing the coasters around the same time I was passively attempting to update "my first cookware". Holder” I have had for many years. Based on the ATK reviews I was very excited to get this and it looked like it would go very well with the Le Creuset stuff I already own (plot twist, the navy blue goes almost perfectly with the Le Creuset -Indigo), plus plus my dishes are currently scattered all over the world. my dining table so I was even more excited to get and use it. However it looks like Circulon may have had other ideas, I have ordered the same item twice and it arrived in an increasingly broken state. Now, you'd think that something as fragile as pottery would ship in its own box with padding and/or fluff, although Circulon seems to think the cardboard strap and some foam inside would cut through - it doesn't require any physics. important to see the problem here. Came pretty sloppily wrapped in a sticky bubble wrap, more like spontaneously packaged and not new, from the manufacturer and a bit more. Needless to say that after 2 times I can safely assume the odds will never be in my favor on this one.
