Smash Review on Nintendo 3DS and 2DS

Nintendo has had Smash Bros. games since 2008 and it's time to make them. Well they did. They made one, ok. Fighting characters from different video game franchises have reached a new level. Now you can play in 3D! To be honest, the 3D effect gives me a headache, but you can still play in 3D! Okay, okay, you're here for a review. So, here's what I'm gonna give you. The game introduced several new characters to the series. And some new steps. Combat techniques are incredibly handy when controlling a fighter. The controls are perfect. The controls in the game are the same as in Super Smash Bros. Battles on the Wii. This makes the game easier and more fun. Now you may have noticed that I only gave this game 4 stars. Yes, I hate to break you, but the game, unlike the controls, is not perfect. First, Nintendo has removed the level editor, meaning you cannot play custom levels created with your fighter. As long as you can unlock levels (up to a certain number), you are forced to play normal levels. Another problem is that it is very difficult to choose the CPU player to fight against. A computer character is a player you can choose to fight against you. If you don't choose a CPU player, the game will do that for you. The last problem I had with the game was programming. I'm not saying it has a lot of bugs, I'm just saying that at times it feels like Nintendo has been a bit lazy. I've encountered several annoying glitches in the game at random times. While I do complain about the game's shortcomings, I can definitely say a lot more positives than negatives about the game. Although sometimes I still think the graphics look like an 8 year old took a Crayola pencil and drew a big black outline around the character models, this game is definitely one to test yourself and with friends and family to share. .
