I just got a pair of these when the price dropped to about ยฃ15. They were sold by a "direct seller" and manufactured by Amazon. The package contained nunchucks and a blue silicone case. When I received them I was worried they weren't genuine as I expected them to be made by Nintendo. I checked one out and it looked identical to the one that came with the system (cable length not compared) but I think it's easy enough to copy a few details onto the unit. Since they are made by BD&A (I forgot the exact name, something like Deutch & Associates) I was wondering if the Nintendo Genuine logo was fake. I called Nintendo at 9pm on a Sunday and surprisingly someone answered me! To my surprise, she was knowledgeable enough to help me determine if the nunchakus were actually BD&A certified. She told me that they spend a lot of time testing them and warning against uncertified ones, especially those that steal power from the console. Having had bad luck with third-party controllers in the past, this was a sermon to the choir. Anyway, I've decided to share my findings here. When you receive a controller with a blue skin from BD&A, it is actually a Nintendo certified controller. Good game!
