Have always worn Teva but the quality and fit aren't as good as they used to be. TEVA has no wide. So I thought it was time to try something new. I've seen the Chaco Z Classic and Cloud but wasn't blown away by the styles. For comfort reasons, I choose Chaco Z/Cloud without the sheepskin coat. I've read that classic shoes are more durable for rough terrain, so maybe I'll try them one day. They fit great - my feet don't cramp and the sandals sit securely on my feet. They are adjustable but it took me a few days to get them perfectly adjusted so that they are comfortable to put on and take off. Style. I had problems here. It looks like a style from an ancient Greek film. At first I didn't like any of the styles. I didn't like the loop around the big toe. I went for the open toe style. Of course the straps around the rest of the foot are the same and adjust as well, but I didn't think it would be comfortable for me. Support - The orthopedic-certified insole convinced me. It's comfortable and really has great arch support. It seems to be much better than the new TEVA terra. The Z Cloud's softer insole is unique compared to the Z Classic, but I haven't actually tried the Classic to compare how big the difference is. the more I wear them. I'm assuming it's just a Z cloud due to the cushioning on the insole. I only saw one comment on Zcloud just about the smell. Mind you, you have to get it closer to your face to smell it, so if you don't like sniffing your shoes so close to your face, I don't see that as a problem. LAUGH OUT LOUD!
