These are well-made filters that can filter the smallest particles. I use them to filter very fine sludge from a small public water supply. I installed 4 filters in series/parallel. Because of this, I have been able to reduce the use of chemicals to remove fine sludge before it enters the water treatment plant. This allowed us to use wells that would otherwise be more difficult to use.
