Known to the State of California to contain cancer causing chemicals

Contains ingredients that cause cancer. Neither the seller nor the manufacturer answered the question what and why. This is for drinking water. I would like to know the reason for such a warning.

This is too high for some cases BB

I found it too high and the case doesn't seal well even with the new o-ring. I used an off-brand Hydronix SWC-45-1005 All-House general purpose filter, which is a bit shorter but fits a lot better. I threw money away for that. Now back to Hydronix, that's cheaper too.

. Well-made filters that can filter out some of the smallest particles. I often use them for filtering.

These are quality filters that can filter out the smallest particles. I use them to filter very fine sludge from a small public water supply. I installed 4 filters in series/parallel. Because of this, I have been able to reduce the use of chemicals to remove fine sludge before it enters the water treatment plant. This allowed us to use wells that would otherwise be more difficult to use.

Great filter. Replacement water filter

As another reviewer noted, this is incorrectly described as 0.5 microns when in fact it is 5 microns. This is good as I wanted 5 micron and accidentally ordered 0.5 micron last time. The model number is almost the same except for the ".". We have well water rich in iron and manganese and low in sediment. We use it as a whole house filter in front of other treatment devices and reverse osmosis systems. Over time we have tried different types of filters including blow and filament filters likeโ€ฆ
