Bought this to replace an old Samsung device. I was surprised that the new Samsung devices cost the same or more, but the specs have remained the same as their older models. After much searching and searching, I decided on this one. A fast tablet for the price. Powerful processor and graphics with 4 GB RAM. Unisoc SC9863a and Power VR Rogue GE8322. Don't get me wrong, this is a lot smaller than my Samsung s10e and Samsung s9 phones, but MUCH better than the current low-end batch of Samsung Galaxy Tab 8-inch and 10-inch tablets and other tablets. The device runs Android 10 and while I very much doubt that Android 11 will be available for these devices in the future, it is up to date with the security patches that have been released. Although you can tell it's only 64GB, it does have it via an SD card slot for expansion. The stereo speakers are loud and can be overloaded. Anyone who needs a 3.5 mm jack connection will also be happy here. I haven't encountered any problems with the screen, but you may see some artifacts/ghosting when scrolling very quickly. The battery is big too, bigger than even the most modern phones. Wi-Fi before AC, so Wi-Fi 5Now to the cons. The buttons are placed in an awkward position and this tablet is definitely meant for landscape use. It takes forever to charge this battery. There is no support for fast charging. Even though it's a USB-C connector, it's still only 5V at 2 amps. Also included is a charger 5V, 2.5A. I have found that my 5v and 2 amp chargers get a bit warm when charging this unit. It's also base Android 10. Phones and tablets now come with things like Samsung's OneUI, which you'll sorely miss, and get Android 11, which you won't. You need to download things like Google Keyboard, Google Chrome, etc. I've also used Pear Launcher and Open Camera to improve things. The cameras suck compared to our dirty old Samsung tablets. They work but NO software and flash so I get Open Camera. I don't use 4G and phone so no comment here. FYI, I had to download firmware 1.06 from this site as it shipped with 1.05. From there he performed an OTA (Wi-Fi only) update to 1.07. So give yourself an idea of the performance. using Passmark Mobile I go Model/System/CPU/Memory/2D Graphics/3D Graphics:Galaxy A Tab/765/2317/334/5587/2266P20HD/2838/1341/6265/8453/3532Galaxy S10e/8542/3838/ 24347/34827/28840 So for me it works and works great. For you, just read and find out for yourself, but for the money it's killer value.
