I like it because of the convenience and the price doesn't bother me, but the quality doesn't really change depending on what you choose for it. The resolution is correct, of course, but you get the same picture, only converted afterwards. I don't see much difference between 200-300 DPI and 600 DPI on this scanner. I don't really need it, it's a PORTABLE scanner, I'll only use it to scan text documents, but I'm playing around anyway. that it does not work as advertised. The software is ok but does not work plug and play. Windows does not find the driver automatically, you must insert the CD and start the installation. Do not use the additional software options provided, they are useless and do not work well. Just a real scanner program that is ok and gets the job done. The only thing I like about this program is that it waits up to 30 seconds after the scan command to automatically scan the next document, which is handy when you create a multi-page PDF document.
