DYMO CardScan v9 Executive Business Card Scanner and Contact Management System for PC or Mac - Enhanced SEO Review

Doesn't work on my Win7 64bit PC. I will have to return. Dymo support was unable to offer a solution. Error on 3 different PCs. This should be removed from Revain, it's mangled and Dymo isn't honest about the bug. They tell me it's "Windows error". I see from other negative posts that this is a product that does not work with Win7/64bit systems and you should know that this is a fact.

LOVE this product. I'm an executive assistant and executives give me a lot of business cards that I convert to Outlook contacts. This reader works great (sometimes with a little editing) and I was able to scan, edit and import over 100 cards into Outlook in about 30 minutes. You can create multiple lists for different contact owners and then email the entire list to each owner to import into your personal contacts. It saved a life!

Trash. Easy and uncomplicated. The product is advertised as compatible with Apple OS X, but through a lengthy process of sniffing out other users, this only works on OS X 10.7 and earlier. (?!) If you're using Yosemite (10.10) or El Capitan (10.11), you're out of luck. The software installs but does not recognize the scanner and there are no updated drivers for this device. I don't think I fully understand Dymo's business model. Save yourself the hassle and buy another company's product. upset.

Just spent about an hour with Dymo tech support. There seems to be a known issue where the scanner does not work well/at all with USB 3 ports. Unfortunately, the Microsoft Surface I use only has one USB port, namely USB 3.0. Even when using a port expander (that is USB 1 and 2) the scanner is never recognized. I finally made my decision and after much deliberation I bought this card scanner. It worked pretty well (as far as the information was scanned correctly and in the right fields) about 85% of the time, so I was pretty happy with it. Big time saver when it worked. And even if it didn't work out, often just one or the other "field" was not copied correctly or not completely, and it was easy to fix the error and then "save" all the card data. I have been a regular Carscan user for many, many years. The device is invaluable if you work in sales or marketing and collect a lot of business cards.
