Review on 🔧 Heavy Duty Y-Pipe Up Pipe and Turbo Install Kit for 2003-2007 Ford 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel F250 F350 F450 Excursion: Complete with Gasket for Enhanced Performance by Saradhi Suter

Bought for my 2005 F-350 6.0 Powerstroke because I was in a bind, none of the local parts stores or boat dealers had it, I needed my truck this weekend and it was on prime. Delivered on time, delivered on time and the item looks well made but doesn't fit. Before we started, I was a Senior Master Diesel Technician, working at a Ford dealership from 2009-2016. I literally can't count how many 6.0 Powerstrokes I've worked on. No way am I installing this pipe wrong. First, I was impressed by the build quality. The pipe looks good, the welds are great etc. But during installation I found that even if I left the pipe loose on the elbows and tried to connect it to the turbine it wouldn't fit. In the picture I had a gap of about 1/2 inch between the pipe and the manifold with screws. I thought it was ok the flex joints were just tight and they stretched and the pipe sealed as I tightened the bolts and pulled it to the manifold. no When I FINALLY lined it up with the turbo (actually I had to loosen the turbo left and then mount it on the base) and I started tightening it, it seals on the back of the flange instead of the side next to the motor. I now have a horrible exhaust leak instead of the squeak of a snapped flexible joint and I have to do all the work all over again.
