Review on CURT 56330 Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness for Dodge Journey with LED Taillights – Enhanced Connectivity and Compatibility by Chad Aguirre

The lighting did not work when wiring and connecting to the boat trailer. I assumed it was probably a problem with the trailer headlights, but the trailer headlights worked on another vehicle. Checking the wires with a DMM, it was found that the power and ground to the black box of this harness were fine, but the wires coming out of the black box had no power. So it's an issue with some connections or circuitry in the box sealed with waterproof sealant that I can't access to fix it. Generally, I paid for a defective product that is now going in the trash. I highly recommend testing the cables coming out of the black box before doing any installation work.
