I've only had this a couple of weeks but everything is working fine so far. , I have the same problem. The problem, however, was that all adapters and slot blocks had to be precisely aligned. Only the single latch for all adapters (this is the HP Z420 tool-less case) had to be removed and properly aligned. Then the card would fit properly in the slot with no problems with connecting cables. What would I do differently if I were designing a card (of course it could be more expensive): 1. For a 4 slot card, use horizontal sections instead of vertical as it makes life easier for users2a. provide 7 slots for vertical slots --or--2b. For vertical slots, also provide 3 Firewire 800 slots (I would pay another $30 for a card with this feature)
