If like me you have a ram mount in a bizarre location that requires extra articulation to see it properly, then this is for you. I installed it next to the instrument cluster on my Land Rover LR4 and the steering wheel is in the way. This allows me to easily move it over the opening and adjust it to the corner of my eye to make my eyes less tiring. The only thing is that it has cutouts around the moving parts and free reach BUT it's close enough and adds more holding power. I think this is a must have at an affordable price.
