I installed them under my kitchen cabinets and they are great! I usually leave the ceiling light or the light above the sink at night, which use more electricity. Now I turn off those lightbulbs, and with a wave of my hand, those lightbulbs under the cabinets light up. The installation was very easy and works as described in the instructions. I wish I had a few more cord clips to hide cords under cabinets, but I was able to get this to work. As stated in the review, they are also obscured by the movement of the hand. Once you get used to remembering where the sensor is, they usually work on the first try every time. The short product description pretty much tells you everything you need to know. When installing you need to carefully consider where the sensor rod goes as it should be next to the outlet and then each rod connects to the sensor rod after that. I put them together to test before installing to make sure they work before I install them. Anyone should be able to install them, but think carefully about how you're going to hide the wire "before you tape it to the bottom of the closet". I placed them on the table top and worked out exactly how the wires needed to be routed before attaching the first one to the underside. I used 3M tape and then inserted and screwed the screws into the bottom of the case as double fall protection.
